Veteran Small Business Webinar

Noon – 1 p.m. (Springfield)

Learn about various programs and help that are available to veterans and their spouses through the SBA and its resource partners in this no-cost webinar from the SBA’s Springfield branch and the Veterans Business Resource Center. And be sure to check out the full slate programming to celebrate veteran-owned businesses Nov. 2-6 during National Veterans Small Business Week.

Advocating for New Entrepreneurs by Utilizing Local Resources

Learn how you can support those who were laid off or lost their job and now want to start a business. This “Mornings on Main” from the Missouri Main Street Connection explores business incubation, microbusiness efforts, business plan development and working with property owners and cities.

STL Startup Week 

Nov. 9-13, 2020 (St. Louis)

Celebrate the St. Louis region’s entrepreneurs and power up your startup through four key tracks: resources and events, general assembly courses, skill building and WISER (women in science entrepreneurship and research). Food Safety for Small Businesses 

10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Tues., Nov. 17 (St. Joseph)

The University of Missouri Extension and the Missouri Small Business Development Center have partnered to bring you expert advice for important food businesses, like manufacturing safety guidelines and FDA and USDA business regulations.

Pitch Contest

Noon – 1 p.m.  Wed., Nov. 18 (Springfield)

The efactory’s annual pitch contest is back and bigger than ever in 2020. Missouri startups will take to the virtual stage Nov. 18 to pitch for their shot at a $10,000 cash prize, presented by RMI.

Business Resiliency Roundtable: Pivoting Your Business Model & Messaging to Customer 

5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 19 (West Plains)

Has your business been impacted by COVID-19? If so, explore a new series of virtual roundtables called Business Resiliency in a Time of Uncertainty. Global Entrepreneurship Week – Kansas City 2020

Kansas City’s largest celebration of entrepreneurship kicks off Nov. 16-20. This year features virtual Prime-Time Events as well as online and in-person Community Events, all at no-cost. These expert presenters will show you how to make your business stronger and more resilient for the future.
